Helping you make sense of yourself.

Practical psychology and nervous system education for real life.

Hi, I'm Jillian.

I'm a therapist, educator, and founder of Compass.

Over the years, I've noticed something surprising.

People rarely struggle because they're "broken." More often, they're doing exactly what a human mind does after years of stress, responsibility, uncertainty, or difficult experiences. Their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors make sense—they just no longer fit the life they're trying to live.

That's the idea Compass was built on.

As a therapist, I help people understand why their minds work the way they do. But I also realized something important: understanding is only part of the process. People needed practical ways to apply that knowledge between sessions and in everyday life. Many others wanted evidence-informed guidance but weren't looking for therapy at all.

Compass became the bridge.

It isn't therapy, and it isn't performative wellness.

It's a place for practical education rooted in psychology, nervous system science, and real-life experience. Everything here is designed to help you better understand yourself, regulate your nervous system, and build sustainable habits that support the life you actually want to live.

Whether you're parenting, leading a team, caring for others, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, my hope is that Compass becomes a place where things begin to make sense.

Because when you understand why you're responding the way you are, you can stop fighting yourself—and start moving forward with intention.

Welcome. I'm glad you're here.
